AT&T vs. Verizon? iPhone vs. BlackBerry?
Hi all! I was able to jump ship with T-Mobile due to bad coverage issues, etc. My work offers a 20% discount on plans with both AT&T and Verizon. They also offer with Sprint, but really not interested in them. I've heard that one could go both ways on AT&T and Verizon, and both the iPhone and BlackBerry have plenty to offer. I just need your guys' help based on your experiences. Or would you recommend neither an iPhone or BlackBerry, and maybe a different phone instead? Thank you for your help! I live in the Central Ohio area, with frequent trips to the Central Michigan area, if that helps in terms of grading coverage. Thanks all!

If you can get good coverage, I really like AT&T and the iPhone. Having been a Verizon customer, they do have very good coverage in most areas, but they don't where I live, so we switched to AT&T and LOVE IT! Love the iPhone too.
Do you need a Blackberry for work?, it is a lot better for office applications. Ask people in the places you go the most and find out which company has better tower coverage. Both great phones and companies.

i would definitely get verizon if you text frequently because if you get 500 or more texts a month you can text everyone in the verizon network for free. but if your a person who calls people more i would definitely get at&t because they have the best coverage it seems to me where you live but verizon also has very good coverage there to. as far as the iphone vs. the blackberry goes the iphone has a lot of glitches but you cant get an iphone at verizon and you can get both a iphone and blackberry at at&t.

I have AT&T and it's the best! I am not a huge fan of either of those phones but maybe you could try these. It's a whole list of cool phones that are similar to the iPhone and the Blackberry.
The Sony Ericsson W580i or w760a is probably what you should get. They are very similar.
The w760a is about $30 after the rebate.
The w580i is free after the rebate.
The w760a is newer and has more features so it's a little more expensive, but better.
Hope this helps!

AT&T the Iphone is GSM the Blackberry is CDMA.
CDMA technology is from WWII
I think I just answered your question
BlackBerry menus upon menus is a joke unless you need to put together a power point presentation in your car don't buy a blackberry it's the truth. The i phone is much more fun.
Verizon is a joke you can't do anything personal and are under their Nazi tactics and they are so expensive.

it depends on what you want. If you are a huge apple fan (i know i am) then go with the iPhone I'm not to sure about AT&T's service as opposed to verizon. I Myself use verizon and love the service but I think that I would definitely choose the iphone!

I have the blackberry storm and one issue is the consistency of the software as it reacts to the touch then click interface. Especially at the edges of the screen, its not consistent or reliable. I am disappointed in the functionality of the phone, but I suspect the biggest problem is in the software, which is something that can be fixed.

personally i would choose the iphone. i have never had but it's what i would want. what sucks about it is that it's pricey and only cingular carries it. but you know, what ever works for you. this also sucks check it out
