First of all, you just put about half of the United States in a stereotype. It's like saying that all Southerners still believe in the Confederacy and all people from San Francisco are gay. By saying that Republicans are racist you are being incredibly ignorant. Perhaps some Republicans are racist, but guess what? SO ARE SOME DEMOCRATS!!!! Shocker I know. So instead of making a blank statement you should qaulify it a little bit more before you piss people off. Maybe look into some Republican politicians and really understand what they support and what they don't. I agree racism is a sign of weakness and insecurity, but by stating it and coining an entire political party for it you are alienating a large part of your audience (the Rebublicans, and educated Democrats who understand that a statement like that has no basis until you give it some) How about you make a better argument next time and really read up on your politics!

You are generalizing! That is to say that all Blacks, all Whites, all Anything is __________. It is a dumb statement and untrue.

Who is the party of division( special interests) women, gay, black, latino, asian, etc. The Democrats. On the surface this looks good but it is a way to divide us. We are one nation not a country of several nations. the White Nation THe Women's Nation, the Black Nation, the Latino Nation. The Asian Nation. THe Democrats and their Multiculturism has done this to this country. The USA was a Nation for the Good of all. Not a country of Special Interest. We all have differences but it is what we have in common that make us a Nation. When you focus on the rights of one group you infringe on the rights of the whole. No one is against individual rights but that only includes rights afforded under the constitution not something because of your sexual orientation, your color your religion,,,,remember that thing? Republicans were suppose to focus on this but have lost their way due to Multiculturalism and Political Correctness.

So in your opinion racism is now defined political affiliation. Why do people get offended by it? Because it is a generalized and offensive statement. There are racists in the Republican to be sure, but so to are there racists in the Democratic Party, the Libertarians and any party that exists out there. Tarring all with a broad brush is just your own insecurity showing. You have convinced yourself that everyone who disagrees with your politics is racist. In short your position is offensive and is not supported in the least. However I will not report you because you are entitled to your opinion.

Edit: You need to get your facts straight. In fact Republicans have done much more than Democrats in the area of civil rights. If you were as informed as you believe yourself to be you would know this fact. In the 26 major civil rights votes since 1933 Republicans have voted in the majority for them 96% of the time. In the same 26 votes Democrats have been voted in the majority against 80% percent of the time. Don't take my word for it though. Go look at the actual vote tallies because it is a fact.

As for the likes of Limbaugh or anyone else. It is called free speech. Whether or not I agree with what is being said does not change this simple fact. They, just like you have the right to express their own opinions. Incidentally, I love how you justify an intolerant attitude, by pointing to what you view as other intolerant attitudes. You won't do this though because they do not support your position. You would rather remain ignorant and wrap yourself in the fantasies which allow you to indulge your own intolerance. Well I am not Republican but since you like generalizing let me make a statement that I doubt you will like or agree with.

There is no such thing as race. We are male and female gender of the human species. Race was created by man to group people who looked different so they could discriminate against them. Since man created race, man can destroy the idea of race. This is not something that will happen over night, but I can start with myself and hopefully convince others to try to remove it from their lives the best they can.

With that said my definition of racist is someone who believes in race.

I guess you need to define racist to me, because I have not seen what I have always believed racism to be as a common trait in the Republican Party. One synonym in the dictionary could be applied to us... that is "opinionated." Well, yeah, we are opinionated about right and wrong. And within that context, I suspect you are racist too. But just when is stating an opinion and discussing it racist? If that is where we have come as a society, I despair of our survival. Another horrible trait of the racist. They assume that one group is incapable of taking care of itself... that it is just too stupid or weak to be able to make it without the help of Big Daddy government (I think the term used to be Massa). Republicans have never believed that of minorities... Democrats do. That's why they continuously put regulations and laws in place to "take care" of minorities INSTEAD of getting out of the way and let them go for the American Dream. As a result, the soft bigotry of lowered expectations has subjugated minorities in ways that are even more perverse than slavery.

Can you give any specific examples of our racism? You do know that W appointed more minorities to cabinet level positions than any other president in US history. Look it up buddy. And for your information there is no word in the english language that fills me with more rage than the N word. Yet arfrican americans throw it around like it is nothing. Barack Obama goes to a church that is filled with hatred for the white man is that not racist? or is Racism only racism when it is directed against black people? because that is a double standard, which in turn proves racism against white americans.

I think your problem is that you are a racist. Is it racist to try to help someone better their lives, or is racist to make a bunch of promises that you have no intention of keeping just to keep a group of people in a servitude position in order to use them. Most Republicans try to help people. The democrats use people to keep them in power. You have to make a choice to hear the hard truth or hear the lies that the easy way out that makes you a slave. Do you want a pay-check or do you want to stand in line at the food bank. Do you want to own your own home or live in a rabbit hutch called public housing. Is it racist to offer a hand up, or is it racist to offer a hand down. The easy way is usually not the best way. You will probably call me a racist, but I have an adopted daughter that is black and I have a daughter-in-law that is black and is going to give me another grandchild soon. I love them more than I love myself.

Some would use the infamous "n" word if they read of a bunch of blacks piling into a bus and staging an accident in order for all of them to collect insurance money. They say this because white people just don't normally do that sort of thing. Unfortunately, they are correct in this sense.

The answer to your question is no. I don't agree. In fact, perhaps since you consider yourself to have it all 'figured out', you could explain to me why it is that Condolessa Rice and Clarence Thomas are so highly regarded among Democrats. You could also bestow upon us insights as to why it was that Democrats constituted the totality of opposition when it came to the civil rights act, why they were the originators of Poll Taxes, Granfather Clauses, and literacy tests for qualifications in blacks voting. Maybe after that, you would privilege us with knowledge regarding why it was that Democrats formed and grew power in groups like the Ku Klux Klan and resisted attempts at integration. I'll humbly await your response.
