Unfamiliar with PriceGrabber.com - help!?
I am looking to purchase a new digital camera. My father sent me information for PriceGrabber.com. I've never used them before and this is the first time I've heard of them. Has anyone used them and good or bad results? Is it similar to Ebay or Amazon?
Thanks in advance!

Not really. Pricegrabber.com is a comparison shopping engine, which means they are more similar to Google or Yahoo, but focused specifically on helping people find things they want to buy (instead of find anything generally around the web). They don't actually products - they list the merchants who sell the products and help us find the best prices on them. Ebay and Amazon are just sellers - they don't show prices other than their own generally.
I'm a big fan comparison shopping engines in general, but specifically Pricegrabber. I've bought a ton of stuff through them over the years and found better prices from merchants I didn't know about who turned out to be real gems.

I can't help you except to say I took a chance on buying my computer from them and everthing turned out very well including the speed of shipping. But you can't judge on 1 sale.
Reputabile on line places are: Beach Camera, B&H Photo, Abe's of Maine, Adorama, and Amazon.com

price grabber just shows you the lowest price, use that to make a local store price match

pricegrabber just tells you places you can shop
they don't sell items themselves
