Could a person play with prosthesis in the NFL?
Is there a rule against use of prosthetics in the NFL?
I saw a guy with no legs with prosthetic device that could make him run and jump like a "super-human".
If he was good enough to play in the NFL, would he be allowed to play?

you have to consider how strong the prosthesis is. i don't know what it would be made of, but it would have to be strong enough to handle being repeatedly trampled on by 6ft 300lb beasts whose sole purpose is to hit people. if it breaks, you run the risk of players accidentally getting stabbed or something.
if someone was driven enough, i imagine they could make it happen, but i don't know that it would be safe for him.

No there is not a rule against and MAYBE theyy could be a kicker, but football is not a contact sport it is a collision sport. Watching it on TV are from the stands does it no justice as to the tremendous collisions occurring on every play. I dating a girl with both legs amputated and she used prosthesis so I have some personal experience with them and let me tell you there is no way one could hold up at any level of football let alone the NFL. Sorry thats just how it is.

The altered ones (superhuman) would definitely fall under some of the rules. They have banned old practices as far as taping and stick'em.
Even if legal....they would not be successful. Players look at injury reports....and that would be well known. They would destroy him weekly...in just a couple of plays.

As long as it didn't jeapardize anybodies safety , sure. Why not? If they were good.
