What to do with my beloved fish?
My family and I are moving from Los Angeles, CA to Washington state and obviously can not drive with our fish in the car for 3-4 days (weather permitting, could be longer)
I have very old fish... 5 year old gourami and platy.
No one in my family or friends want the fish. What do you recommend?

Aw, you need to leave your fish! D: I'm really sorry..
I recommend that you sell them to a nearby pet store, as well as the tank, if you are not planning on keeping the tank, and getting more fish when you get there. If you are planning on it, then just selling them to a GOOD pet store, like back to where you got them, and try to get some small profit out of it.
I hope their new home is good, as well as yours. Good luck!

Try craigslist.com or freecycle.org.
There are a lot of people out there that wouldn't mind free fish. (:

Take it to the pet store, they won't give you any money for it, but will take care of it till someone buys it.

Put them in a pond.
