I loved The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. One of those I was so sad to have end.

'The Host' also by Stephanie Meyer.
Try the 'Night creature series' by Lori Handeland - they all have the word moon in the title.
Angela Knight, Lynn Kurland, Nina Bangs, Lynsay Sands, Christine Feehan, Janet Chapman, J. R. Ward, Jacquelyn Frank, Lynn Viehl - all are excellent authors of adult books- some are a little on the steamy side, by that I mean they can be a little graphic.

Stephen Chbosky - The Perks of being a Wallflower.
The best book you will ever read.
