Possible that Im going through Menopause? (18 years old)?
I am only 18 years of age. I dont know if Im thinking too much or what but my menstrual cycle has been very weird lately. I had my period at the age of 10 so it's been 8 years now. My period has been regular for the last 3, 4 years. Last month, November I had brown discharge a day or two before my period actually started. Now this month December I got my period on the 26th. The first two days seemed to be what I would call a regular flow, but than the third day I had spottings. There was barely anything. The third day seemed to be more like the 6th day and usually my period lasts for 5-7 days. Im very confused. Im not stressed out or anything. Is it possible that I may be going through menopause at this age (18)??? Oh by the way I havent had sex for nearly 4 months now, so theres no way I could be pregnant.

At your age, it's likely just a temporary hormone imbalance. All the 'symptoms' of menopause are really the result of changes in a woman's hormones, so some random fluctuation could produce similar results even though you're not actually going through meopause. If you're really worried, and your period isn't regular (and I don't mean 'like usual' I just mean 'the same for a few times') in a couple months check with your doctor.

I seriously doubt you are going through menopause...and quite frankly, pregnancy isn't the only thing that can cause changes in your cycle.
But even though you have been menstruating since age 10, it doesn't mean your cycle can't change. At age 18, your body is still entering some growth changes, so your hormones might be fluctuating, resulting in unusual and noticeable changes in your cycle.
Since these symptoms are unusual for you, you really should go see your doctor and get things checked out. Especially since you are already sexually active, it is good to get an exam to rule out any infections or diseases that could be causing these changes.

It would be very rare for you to be going through menopause unless you have a serious hormonal imbalance. I would get it checked out just to make sure nothing is wrong. A similar thing happened to a friend and it turned out she had a tumor (non cancerous) on her pituitary gland that was causing her irregular hormone levels and menstrual cycle. Thyroid problems can also cause irregular periods, among other causes

well maybe that's why it's became irregular, bc u're not having sex, believe it or not, sex does effect ur menstrual cycle.
but no, u're not going through menopause, otherwise u'd be late by 2-3 months at times, hot flashes, horrible moods swings, and more. which u're none of that. so u're not even close to having a menopause. why don't u do a lil research on it, google it.

Hypothyroidism, or low thyroid function, is a silent epidemic, according to many functional medicine doctors. How to cure hypothyroidism naturally https://tr.im/x7QvE
People can suffer for years with symptoms that our conventional medical system frequently doesn’t know how to treat because complaints seem scattered or vague and often there is no pill for the ill(s).
What’s worse, in most cases, hypothyroidism isn’t rooted in a thyroid problem in the first place. It’s rooted in an immune system gone awry, but most doctors don’t test for the antibodies that show the presence of autoimmunity.

I do not think you are going through menopause there are a lot of other symptoms to that. Your period can have changes for many reasons. If you are really concerned see a gynecologist.

Sometimes your body just changes. Once you get used to something with your menstral cycle, it changes. I'm 99.9 % SURE it's not menopause though. If you are concerned, see your OBGYN.
