I ask because I know it is a lot cheaper to fly to California than to Honalulu from NC.
We have been on 4 Caribbean cruises already and know quite a bit about cruising but would like to know about Hawaii, that is where we really want to go.

I believe that there is only one scheduled cruise from the US to Hawaii and back and I will be on it next week. It is a 2 week cruise on the Golden Princes and is only in the fall and winter. The other option is a Norwegian Cruise Lines ship that only goes between the islands (I believe all year) or a repositioning cruise from Vancouver or Ensenada or reverse which each line only has a couple of times a year. If there are other cruises I am sure to be corrected.
I chose Princess due to the length and the number of departures. I like the 8 days at sea. I am sure summer cruises are more expensive.
