Of course, I would feel that way about the far left also.

I don't agree with either mantra, but I tend to stick closer to true republican ideals, not the far right of course.

I see a very invasive and controlling entity from either fringe of both sides.

On the side you ask, religion will be forced upon us, scare tactics and fear mongering abound, nobody will be allowed to have sex, gays will be exterminated, labor laws will cease, everything except government will be outsourced, it will be law to subsidize business with tax dollars,

a new war a week-damn the cost, abolishment of the Constitution, martial law, North American Union, no alternative energy, and no environmental laws just to name a few.

At least we still will have personal responsibility.

White males who own property could probably continue on just as they've always lived. For everyone else, there would be a whole new set of restrictions.

You're experiencing it now, with the economy in freefall, two wars cooking and the U.S. reputation around the world in tatters. Don't forget that conservatives did hold the majority in Congress for 6 of the last 8 years, controlled the White House, the courts, and of course control the media. When conservatives talk about the liberal media, they're blowing smoke. How many networks or newspapers are owned by liberals? None! And as for Congress, don't forget that without 60 votes in the Senate in favor of something, it's possible for very few senators to block almost anything, and that's just what the Republicans there have done the last two years.
