PC program name, please?
In my earlier question, I was hoping someone might know the name of this program so I could download it again. Thanks.
1 AnswerSoftware8 years agoI used to have a program on my PC that listed all software in it. Does this sound familiar?
This program would generate a report on all software, software licenses, plus more information on the computer system itself. It was a free, stand alone program. Does this sound familiar to anyone. I would like to download it again. I lost it in a computer reset a month or so ago.
3 AnswersSoftware8 years agoAnyone know of this WW II movie that ends with execution scene?
This movie ends with a Nazi firing squad shooting a group of people in the back, including one man in a wheelchair. The man in the wheel chair is not immediately killed, and so an officer dispatches him with a pistol shot in the mouth. This is an old film that I saw in the mid 1960s. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I would like to find out the name of the film.
1 AnswerMovies1 decade agoWhy should I add ubuntu to a computer that runs OK on XP?
I do use microsoft money and will need to keep using that. The rest of the windows programs that are out there I don't really care much about, and understand there are plenty of free programs that will replace them. I plan to keep the computer I'm using for another year or two. Suggestions, recommendations?
5 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoLooking for WW II movie with terrifying coup de grace ending?
I saw this film years ago, and would like to pick it up. It ended with a German firing squad executing several people, including one man in a wheel chair. After the initial round of shooting, the firing squad officer examined all the victims, and said, "This man is alive." Then the man in the chair was killed with a shot through the mouth. What movie is this? Help!
1 AnswerMovies1 decade agoWhat's the point of cookbooks?
I've got shelves full of cookbooks, and buy 1-2 more every year. I'm starting to wonder, why? I can just enter the kind of recipe I'm interested in on the internet and hit enter, and I've got more recipes to browse through than I've got time to read. Anyone else come to the same conclusion?

Can anyone offer advice on the use of microfiber towels in car cleanup/detailing? Will these products scratch paint and glass? How would their use differ from regular cotton towels?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoOK to delete trial version of MS Office?
I don't use these programs. (I'm happy with Open Office, especially the price--$0.) So are there ramifications to deleting the trial versions of Access, Word, Excel, etc. that came with the computer?
5 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoCarpool etiquette: OK to ask riders to pay some on maintenance, oil, tires, etc, or just fuel costs?
What's the right way to figure cost sharing in a car pool? It's my car, and I drive all the time. My rider rides about 100 miles/day with me. He's been paying about $6.50/day. That covers almost all of my fuel costs (I get 48 mpg) but to get that I had to buy a newer car, with car payments and a beefy maintenance schedule. What's appropriate and/or legal?
