Why is everybody thinking that "The End of Times" is coming just now?

Why not in the next two centuries or in a billion years?

Since I was a little girl people is advertising the End comes, the Antichrist is born...

I believe in the End of the World, but I prefer not to be a frontline witness.

Because some people never got over their childhood feeling of being the most important person in the world, so they say to themselves, "Now that I'm here, an earth-shattering event can happen" as if it's simply not possible that such an important person could be just another human living through ordinary times.

Seriously. People have been predicting the end of the world for thousands of years now and I'll bet you anything that it's due almost entirely to people feeling that of course history revolves around their own lives.

Fortunately for them the Bible passages used to "predict" the end are so vague and malleable that they can be pointed to in almost any time period.

Biblical reasons that the rapture may occur around September 9th, 2010

Before I begin, I want to mention something ...

NOBODY knows the day or the hour of the Lord's return. Amen?

I discovered something this year about that phrase: "nobody knows the day or the hour." It is a colloquial phrase in the Hebrew community that has a literal meaning and another wrinkle that has to do with the Feast of Trumpets. Let me explain.

The Feast of Trumpets is the only Hebrew celebration that happens at a new moon. And the new moon can fall on different days all over the world. It can also happen on two different days in the same place in the world. A new moon is 29.5 days after the last one, meaning it might occur on the 29th or 30th day, nobody knows for sure. Which is to say that the calender may read September the 14th for the new moon in Israel, but it may not occur in the United States until the 15th or maybe it would have occurred here a day before it does in Israel. Or that in Israel alone there is always a controversy that must be resolved to determine when the celebration actually occurs.

The way the nation of Israel would determine when the feast occurred is they would deputize two men with good eyesight to stand away from the city and stare at the moon to see if they could agree that a crescent was visible. They two men would return to the priest in Jerusalem and either agree that the feast was to begin or they would wait for the next day to verify. Because the date of the feast was up for grabs, the feast became known as that which "nobody knows the day or the hour." That very phrase became synonymous with "the Feast of Trumpets" such that they could be used interchangeably.

It is interesting that this Letter came on the Feast of Trumpets, 2007. It spoke so clearly that "Today, let it be counted. For today begins that which the Lord God of Heaven and earth had declared from the beginning, that it should come" ... particularly interesting when it occurred on the very day that nobody knew the day or the hour.

We can all agree that nobody knows the day or the hour of the Lord's coming ... and at the same time be confident of this ... it is most likely to occur during the Feast that signifies this event ... just like the death of the Lord Jesus occurred during the feast of Passover.

In short, there is valid reasons to believe that the rapture will occur whenever the day or the hour happens to be during the new moon of the seventh Hebrew month in 2010 ... or in other words - "The Feast of Trumpets 2010." That is sometime between September 7th and September 10th, 2010.

That will be approximately 62.5 years after the establishment of Israel as a nation ... and still leave at least 7 more years before the time-frame expires ... the time frame being the length of years in the generation that sees the establishment of the nation in Jerusalem.

    The days of our years are threescore years and ten;

    - Psalm 90

    "Threescore" is 60. So 60 and 10 is 70.

I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. - Matt 24

Do some google searches on the Feast of Trumpets and you can quickly verify what I have written.

The time has been counting down ever since Jesus departed from us to go be with the Father. No one knows when Jesus will come back except for the Father. However, too many people worry about who the Antichrist is not to mention whether Jesus will return in their lifetime or not. It is not something that a single person knows, and it is not something anyone should be paranoid about. Jesus told us not to worry sick about it, but rather to be aware.

The end of times is a mistranslation of "the end of the Age (aeon). So it is in fact the end of the age of Pisces and we will be in Aquarius.

When Israel is in the news you better look up. "When Israel becomes a nation, this generation will not pass away before the Son of God returns"

    Don't worry about it.

Two thousand years ago, they thought it was imminent.

One thousand years ago, they thought it was imminent.

A decade ago, they thought it was imminent.

    Seeing a pattern emerging?
