Why were there never any protests from the international community about Hamas shooting rockets at Israel?

I've noticed that there have been protests all over the world about Israel attacking Hamas targets in Gaza. But I don't ever remember seeing any protests about the years of rocket attacks against Israel. Why is this?

Update:

So it's OK if only a few people get killed in Israel over the years. Not to mention all the damaged properties and disrupted lives. How many Jews should die before the international community complains?

Because the Western media rarely reported it. Most people don't even know that over 3000 rockets have been fired into Israel civilian centers like schools, markets, and playgrounds over the last year alone.

And when they finally do hear about it, like now, they are too firmly entrenched in another Western media fallacy - that of the "poor Palestinians" when there is no such thing as a "Palestinian" in the first place. So they don't care, it's big bad Israel against this non-existent indigenous people called "Palestinians" who are after all only fighting for their rightful land back.

See how that works? And people say the JEWS control the media? LOL! The exact opposite of what's been going on and who has been doing it and why, and even the very identities of those involved has been distorted beyond recognition by the Western media - all AGAINST the Jews and Israel and FOR the Arabs.

That's why there were never any protests against Hamas or the rest of the Arabs murdering Jews on a regular basis. And not Jewish soldiers either, but babies, women and children, targeting schools, playgrounds, markets, pizza parlours, buses.

I don't think there would be any international protests against Mexico if Mexico started shooting rockets at the United States because there would not be enough time-- Mexico would cease to exist within 24 hours. What we have seen from Israel is remarkable restraint that would not be expected from any other country in the world. Any other country in the would would launch massive retaliation after the first rocket yet Israel has put up with this for years!

Sderot has been under Hamas rocket attacks for the past 8 years. People have gotten used to it and don't care. News agencies don't even bother reporting it, and when they do - People couldn't care less. After all, it's not as interesting and protest-invoking as Israel doing something to protect its citizens for a change.

Hamas breaking a truce, shooting severeal dozens of missiles, killing one, injuring dozens and putting hundreds into a shock state? Nothing new under the sun there ~bzz changes channel~

They are Jews. The whole world sat by & waited while 7 armies attacked the tiny new state of Israel, right after the Holocaust, & waited for the rest of the Jews to die. Contrary to popular belief, at that time the US didn't help Israel.

I'm glad to see your question. The double standard is an important one & one that needs to change.

True, that fact does seem to be ignored. If my neighbour kept chucking s**t over the fence into my garden I would do something about it. Simple truth.
