My daughters doctors has upped his price from 60 to 75. ?

Oh my gosh, ours is $150 for each appointment (and insurance doesn't cover Well-Baby Visits). The appointments are all pointless! If my child is sick, I'd be the first to run her to the doctor, but they guilt you into these appointments where they weigh the child, ask if they're eating ok, chit-chat and then bill us $150 on the way out.

I'm glad to read that these rates are high in comparison. My husband has been saying this for the last year.

If that's with no insurance then that's low where I'm at. (tiny lil country town in Tennessee..cheap area).

Standard for us is $25-$30 per appointment with insurance. We only pay 25% of the bill (co-pay). So with no insurance it'd be $100-$120 per appointment.

that seems low. not sure the exact price but it is over $100 for a doctor visit without insurance. we pay $20 co-pays. well visits are completely covered with our insurance (thank god) the bills turn out to be over $200!

ask him for a discount.

my dr is 138 per office call, but i pay about 1/2.

tell him you'd like the same rate that ins would pay him.

That's sounds pretty reasonable to me. Ours is $150 without insurance, thankgod we have a good health plan!

Mine is 80 if you don't have insurance.
