I recommend a few times daily: 1 cup of warm water mixed with 1/2 tsp baking soda.

similar to a Buddhist monks' cleansing drink.

(after you drink it, your mouth tastes like you brushed your teeth with baking soda, but meh, it's soothing actually, esp if you have mouth sores too)
