DO you smoke? Especially if you know you could get cancer or emphasema.?
My husband just died a horrible death. Not from cancer as one would expect, but emphasema suffering to breath and enjoy life. And he stopped smoking nearly five years ago. If you love yourself, stop. If you love your spouse or family, don't please don't put them through the hell I just experienced.

I feel very sorry for you. My grandfather died of emphasema over 40 years ago. He was a very heavy smoker but had been a schoolmaster & the chalk dust also contributed to it. My grandmother who had never smoked a cigarette in her life also died of the disease. She had suffered from asthma most of her life but it was the passive smoking that caused her to come down with it. Thank goodness smoking has been prohibited in the uk in public places
