I was going to say that this could be a copy protection issue - I'm sure I've seen SD cards with a little switch like the old 3.5" floppies used to have. Take out the card and see if there is a little up/down switch to turn protection on or off.

However, checking the Lexar website, it turns out that not all SD compatible items can use 2GB cards. Your card may just be incompatible with your camera. The website has a list of compatibility.

it incredibly is meant to artwork on the two SD and SDHC. attempt yet another card. it would be extra effective in case you tried an empty previous working one from yet another digital camera. If it nonetheless does not artwork, the digital camera might desire to be decrease back to the keep you purchased it from as quickly as attainable for a replace.

There's a small slider switch on the edge of the card. Slide this to the unlocked position.
