Can you get crabs out of underwear using bleach?
This is just a hypothetical, but what if I was to buy a really nice pair of undies at a thrift store. I wouldn't know who owned them last so would bleaching them be enough to get crabs and whatever else may be lurking in the crotch? What if they were a really sweet color, like green or blue and I couldn't bleach them. How would you do it then?
I was just sitting here wondering, if I was to get crabs or some other STD, how I would explain it to the wife since I've never been with anyone else. I'd need a woman to admit to sleeping with me, but I don't think that would happen.
OK, for the sake of details, let's just image they're Super Mario Brothers boxers from the eighties.
No, I'm not buying used undies from the thrift store. This is just a hypothetical I wanted to throw out there.

Just drop them bad boys in some boiling water.
That will kill any critters. Then wash to clean out any "bacon strips" and dry at the highest heat setting.
heck after all that it would be safe to eat off them...

Ok, totally understand, but consider that they are sleep pants, or some really nice silk undies.
Just wash them & it should be fine, or you could dye them that works too. You can also wash them in the lice hair washing stuff,RID I think is what it is called.
Why pay $4 or $5 for a pair of new undies when you can pay $.50 for a used pair! He He.
I am cheap.

Sure, bleach and hot water will kill almost anything, but the real
question is: why would you buy those used?
I maybe could see buying used coats, shoes, pants, but not those dude.

To kill any pubic lice and nits that may be left on clothing or bedding, machine wash those washable items that the infested person used during the 2-3 days before treatment. Use the hot water cycle (130 deg F) of the washing machine to wash clothes. Use the hot cycle of the dryer for at least 20 minutes to dry clothes.
Dry clean clothing that is not washable.
I don't think underwear is available used at a thrift store.

Dude, you can get new, unused, never before worn underwear at any discont store. Why would you pay money for someone elses jockey shorts?
