How can I keep my laminate floors warm in the winter?

How adverse would you be to ripping up the floor? There is a product called flexwatt made originally for this purpose. People lay it under their floors, connect it to a thermostat and then into an in wall outlet so you don't have cords going everywhere. Problem is, you'd have to tear up the laminate, install the product then relaminate.

If possible, insulate from under the floor. Other than that, wear socks or slippers.
