Why Vista never finishes updates?
I am running Vista SP1. Every time I boot it up it says it is configuring/finishing installing updates. Vista cannot update now because it always says it needs to restart in order to finish installing previous updates, but I have already restarted all these times. What can cause or fix this?

NOPE no longer something will artwork now i think of there's a virus problem that's going to flow after formatting ur laptop i too HAD the same problem yet AFTER FORMATTING ITS setting up THE UPDATES extra quicker THAN till now.. IF U DNT format UR laptop THEN U WILL swap OF UR laptop extra than a number of TIME promptly FROM the flexibility BUTTON N which will SEVERLY result UR laptop. wish THIS help U

Well, that's not good. Have you looked in your Problems & Solutions section located via Control Panel to see if problem has been automatically reported and a solution provided by Microsoft? Actually you shouldn't need to restart after updates are downloaded it should do it on it's own.
