Over the past year I earned (in college credit):

3 credits, SUNY OCC Business & Criminal Law

4 credits, SUNY Albany Italian 4.

Over the next year, I am enrolled in and should successfully earn:

4 Credits, Syracuse University Project Advance (SUPA) Forensic Science

3 Credits, SUPA English (ETS 142)

3 Credits, SUPA Public Affairs / Introduction to the Analysis of Public Policy (PAF 101)

At this point, I'm planning on majoring in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice/Crime Scene Investigation. I know that the Italian and English courses might place me out of the equal freshman college courses but I just don't quite understand how the other courses will impact/work towards my major.

I'm a 17 year old guy and I've worked at a daycare center for about 7 months and I absolutely love it. I love the kids and they all seem to enjoy my presence and look up to me. However, there is one child, in first or second grade, who seems to be taking it further than the rest. At first he would just jump on me and play rough but It's gotten to a point where today he sat directly at my feet when we were getting ready to go outside, I let him hold my glasses, and he said outloud that, "He let me because I'm his favorite!" and later in the day he chose to hug me from behind instead of playing rough. While this could just be an off day for him, I'm still worried he is growing attatched. While he has grown on me considerably since I first started work (maybe to become a favorite which I feel is understandable) and I treat him well, I still discipline him the same as the other children and I do not spoil him.

In short, how can I deal with potential attatchment while encouraging the development of relationships and without making him feel like I'm rejecting him?

Today I got a NSFN (Non sufficient funds notice) in the mail from my credit union. I've been very good about balancing my account and I'm not sure how I might have overdrawn it. Written on the notice is "Cleared" and "Balance: $2.89". Does this mean there was an error on the Credit Union's part? Or does this just mean the transaction (a withdrawal of $20 on-site) was just cleared? The voice response system says that my account over drawn while the paper record says "cleared". This makes the situation confusing for me.

If it makes any impact, their voice response system has been up and down lately and up until this week their on-site ATM would read my debit card but reject the correct pin number.

Any advice/information would be great, as the office is closed! Thank you!

In 2002 my father went to court (in NY) to gain custody of me and it was ruled that he would have custody of me until I turned 16 at which point I could choose where I want to live. He took me with him to Florida and has since moved me 3 times and through 9 schools. Now that I've become "of age" I know that, without a doubt, I want to emancipate myself. I'm not entirely sure what I need to do to gain emancipation and I have no one here who is family to talk to about it. Does where the court proceedings took place make any difference and what steps should I take? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

I started researching my genealogy a few years ago but got off track and never resumed it until recently. In some of the material I had from before I found copies of ship manifests and some of my ancestors are on them. I noticed they each have a unique "Immigration Vista Numbers". How might I use this in my research?

Since "Merlin" has not received very high ratings (which in my honest opinion is due to NBC's poor promotion of the series and its horrible time slot) is there any chance that it will air on BBC America if NBC drops it? If not, what do you think the BBC will do about its dedicated overseas viewers? They can't just leave us in the dark after airing an entire season!

I built a website and to achieve rounded corners I used CSS. Everything works perfectly locally but when I upload the website to the server, none of the CSS works at all. What can I do to get the CSS working?

I would like to put a phone number on my website (for business use) without giving out my REAL number. Simply, I would like to set up a number that will relay or forward to my cellphone without risking my privacy. How and where can I do this? Is there any way to do this for free?

I was in a class today talking to a guy, who I would call a 'school' friend, someone I enjoy talking to when I do, and definitely someone I admire. A few seconds into the conversation when I made eye contact with him (which is something I did not used do when talking to him) I noticed that his eyes had gotten large (even puppy like) and his pupils had dilated. They were normal before we started talking.

The room was very well lit, so I don't think his eyes were reacting to dim light. I am also a very nice person, so I don't see how this could have been a reaction to fearing me.

Other times I talked to him I didn't make eye contact and his eyes were normal. I even sometimes think he thinks I hate him because I never used to be as social as I am now and I didn't act like I wanted to socialize with him.

Is this just standard eye contact or is this something psychologically different, such as a reaction to me actually making eye contact with him and possibly liking him as a friend?

Last night the door knob / lock to my front door wouldn't turn, so I tried hard to turn it and it finally gave, but it won't move the deadbolt/deadlatch. I took it off the door to look inside it and it appears it won't turn fully. It just gets stuck part of the way through the turn. What could be the cause of this and is it fixable?

I am running Vista SP1. Every time I boot it up it says it is configuring/finishing installing updates. Vista cannot update now because it always says it needs to restart in order to finish installing previous updates, but I have already restarted all these times. What can cause or fix this?

Whenever I try to upload files to websites, such as Flickr, Ebay, etc., I click browse, and then the web browser freezes up. This happens for every web browser I have installed. I have tried it in Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and IE and on multiple websites, and the browser always freezes up when the browsing window comes up. I honestly have no idea what to do now. I have already scanned for viruses and spyware and removed everything, ran a cleanup of temp. files, cookies, etc. I have done everything I know of to do. What can I do now? I'm assuming its a problem in explorer. Any help would be great!

I need to mail a couple packages. There are a couple I know won't fit, but one I am not sure about. How tall is the slot?

It is a small, 8 oz package. Will they pick it up? it has a prepaid shipping label and is sealed and ready to go.

I'm a straight guy, and in high school. There's a guy who I've known a few years that is in some of my classes and his actions confuse me. He's one of the jock types of guys; very athletic, loves sports, and at first wouldn't appear to be gay at all, but in my presence he is the total opposite of this. When he is with his other jock friends he will totally ignore me and then when they are not in the room, and I am, he changes totally. A couple time's he has reached over, put his hand on and gripped my thigh, and then gazed into my eyes when I looked over at him. He has also reached over and randomly touched my butt. Many days he will walk up to me and do something that he knows will make me notice, I'll look up, and he'll try and make eye contact with me. Other times he will just try to fool around with me playfully.

Is he trying to send me a message, is this some strange sense of humor, or is he just being a jerk?

If I were to buy an EVDO plan (From sprint or verizon) would streaming video from a webcam to a site like ustream or justin.tv count as data? Also, is it true that verizon does not allow this anymore?
