My thoughts would be that Desperation is the cause, that perhaps it would not have mattered what nationality the officer was, the man was too stressed to think first. Who knows what was in his head, worry, fear....

    * I would respectfully ask some of the other answerers to be more tolerant of the askers grammar, his first language is not English & he is a respected member of this community. Thank you.

Irony, It wasn't by coincidence, or by an insolent act from one of the officers that I'm sure of, There was gun fight which killed an Egyptian officer wounded another one in the palm, and another 4 were thrown by rocks, Then in Yemen, They barge into the Egyptian Embassy and hung a Gaza's flag, This may mean a Declaration of War against Egypt, Graceful if you ask me.

It interests me to see where all the Arab nations have gone instantly, Arabs throw at us the Gaza's problem at us alone as in it's Egypt problem's alone and it's for Egypt to solve and then expect Egypt to handle 1.5 Million Refugee on it's own, While other Filthy Rich Arab countries just sit there and watch and there isn't enough security in Sinai to handle that number in the first place meaning hell will break loose, I say again, Graceful!

First we shouldn't generalize an act from a foolish person on all the Palestinians

maybe out of anger.....maybe he is not Palestinian......or he have much hatred to Egypt.......maybe the officer insulted him

Sorry Samy, but I think this is the time for all arabs to unite, not to start insult each other. Your question should be about the barbaric attack of Israeli army not about poor Palestinians.

You question is very hard to follow. As far as i can understand Palestine hasn't asked from help from the US, however, the US has asked Israel to renew the cease fire. The problem is that Hamas won't stop firing rockets into Israeli cities. Those people have been fighting for thousands of years. The only way they will stop is if they take their religions a little less seriously. That is the core problem. These theological states will always war with each other. That is why American is supposed to have a separation between church and state. The problem with that is that most Americans do not understand what that means.

People are stupid and selfish and no one wants to be the person to deal with a problem.

Also, I have to agree with other people. Please, check your grammar or at least your spelling. Yahoo answers even tells you when you've spelled something wrong. So it's not like it's that hard to say, "Hey, maybe I should look up how to spell this word."
