i have cb radio antenna question i love answered?

is there anyway to increase output db without add a amplifier or peaking your radio?

i have heard of something called a load coil.

home made that would increase output.

is there any truth nto this?

    the best way would be to take your rado and get it peaked. no one will know. and you wont notice any difference except it will be performing better.

    these coils wont do anything. A Better antenna system as a whole will affect how well you get out. it will increase how strongly someone else receives you. antenna plays a huge part and can increase your performance. i dont know what your antenna system is but try upgrading that after that go get a simple tune up job from a reputable CB tech.

    A load coil doesn't increase the power of your CB. It helps match the antenna to your CB so it can transmit full power. You can maximize the tuning of your CB to get the most power out of it. You could have it modified to put out more power but, like a booster amplifier, that's illegal.
