M stands for mature. Is the next highest rating the highest being adults only.

Let me tell you what kind of fun activities can be found in this game. In no particular order.

1) ability to steal cars by pulling their occupants out and beating them.

2) beating random people in general.

3) shooting people with all sorts of weapon.

4) blowing their heads off clean literally.

5) shopping people to pieces with swords. I do mean it when their arms fall off.

6) visit a strip club.

7) acquire the service of prostitutes. That's w_hore for you english mayors.

8) impersonation of government offcicial.

9) drive by shootings.

10) drive over people wit variuos types of vehicles

11) racketeering.

12) there is lots of cursing and double talk both on the street and on the radio.

13) braking and entering

14) others

Things you won't find in GTA games in general.

1) tax evasion.

2) burning of the flag.

3) educational material.

4) smell of burning flesh.

My professional advice is to buy your kid a leappad2 or stick to Mario games unless the idea of a greasy fat man who eats shrooms and whos girlfriends is a hot blond prince doesn't appeal to you. That and the GTA games are hard and I doubt your kid will be able to play it well anyways.

The M means it's for 17 years old and up. If you let your 4 year old play Grand Theft Auto he could be a serial killer when he grows up. It's about killing people and kicking people out of cars and doing bad things.

Just tell her it is all part of the plot and you just have to go through it once. You have to make a convincing lie though because you get asked to go to strip clubs a lot. If they let you get it. If you get invited into a girls house on the game and your parents home just turn the sound down so only you can hear it.

M = Mature , it is NOT about racing , you kill and steal cars , it has a bad influence on your kids mind and he'll grow up to be a gangster kill and steal cars or he might get into drugs and alcohol so it is best you DON'T buy Grand Theft Auto 4 for him

Your kid is a very good liar...naht! The "M" represents for the sexual contents (hookers), adult language (excessive), drug abuse (drug dealers and booze - drunk driving). Please, don't buy this for your child.

M stands for mature its not racing (though you can do it in the game) its a shooting killing game so not really suitable for a 4 year old, it's rated 18 too so yah
