While Judaism believes that the Messiah hasn't come yet: We don't place anywhere near as much emphasis on the concept as Christianity does theologically.

We focus on the lives we currently lead, as opposed to what could be in store for us.

As a Jew, the only time I think about the messiah coming is when there are questions on Y!A about it!! It's really not a big focus of Judaism, which, as moo says, is focussed on the life we're leading here and now.

The solutions you acquire relies upon on what Christian you communicate to. some Christians, distinctly evangelicals and fundamentalists, have self belief that Jews might desire to embody Jesus as Savior to be perfected. different Christians have self belief that God's covenant with the Jews will constantly stand with the aid of fact God won't in any respect ruin his word to them. it incredibly is termed "twin covenant" theology and it incredibly is a splash complicated to respond to in a communicate board like this. it incredibly is beneficial to Google it. The attitudes of Christians to our Jewish associates could be complicated with the aid of fact of modern evangelical eschatology and what it teaches approximately Israel, the conversion of the Jews, and so on. blended with anti-Semitic emotions and ideology that "the Jews killed Jesus" it makes it very annoying to handle. My own ideals are that God won't in any respect abandon His human beings, and that Christians owe them a great debt, for without them we does no longer have Jesus. And all that aside, they are our associates and fellow visitors by using existence.

I'm looking forward to a Messianic age, rather than any particular Messiah. I look forward to a day when the nations no longer war with each other and we find our common humanity. I think about it as a concept quite often, but I don't think about the Messianic Age coming very often at all.

Yes and sometimes I think of it daily. This old world has always had it's problems but it's never been so in your face w/o a conscience. People that not only do wrong but are proud of it.

Of course a part of me is afraid of the unknown. But a larger part longs for His appearing.
