So when is Asteroid Apophis going to hit our earth ?
So i been hearing these rumors saying asteroid apophis , is getting closer to making a impact on earth, and once it does, then that would mean the end of the world, now some are saying april 2029 will be the last day on earth, but do you think there a chance today is the last day on earth, like what happen's if there is no tomorrow

Current odds are 1 in 45,000 (and will probably increase). Those odds don't bother me. You're more likely to be killed in a road accident in the next 2 months.

An asteroid will almost certainly collide with Earth again at some point, but right now there are no known objects with a significant chance of hitting us for at least a hundred years. The 2012 rumors are all garbage. You can safely ignore them. 2036 is the year we have a close encounter with the asteroid 99942 Apophis. Current calculations put the impact risk at 1 in 250,000, or 0.000004%. In other words, it almost certain to miss us, and observations during its 2013 pass will give scientists much better insight into its exact orbit.

It is supposed to be directed toward earth in 2029, and hit in 2036. I doubt it will happen, 1 in 45000 chance.

I thought it was in 2041? The day is supposed to be on a Friday the 13th. Hahhaa! Funny. But its supposed to miss us, but come close enough to pass between the earth and the moon. I got this info from watching the History channel special on the end of the world.
The funny thing about Friday the 13th is that the only reason its considered bad luck is because that's the day the Catholic church condimned the Templars to death.

It may never strike the Earth. For the present we know that it will not strike the Earth anytime between now and 2035. We do know that it will pass very close to the Earth in April 2029, missing by about 38,000 km (with an uncertainty of around 1000 km). The close pass makes its future path harder to predict as that 1000 km uncertainty is amplified by the close pass. By 2036 the uncertainty grows to around 30 million km so we really have very little idea of where it will be then. However it will be visible to optical telescopes from late 2012 and in radar range in early 2013. Data gathered at this time may improve our knowledge enough to be certain that it won't hit in 2036.
Trying to predict the end of the world is an interesting pastime. One has to accept that we don't know everything there is to know so presumably it's possible that something we weren't aware of could end the world tomorrow or that if God or some higher beings exist he/she/it/they could decide to wind things up tomorrow. However, so far as we can tell the planet has been orbiting the Sun for around 4.5 billion years and will continue to do so for another few billion years yet. The types of life-forms on the planet and their geographical extent have gone through many changes in response to various calamities and prevailing conditions in that time and one would expect that to continue into the future.

For all of the people who will die before Sunrise, there will be no tomorrow. So it's kinda like the World does end. For them at least.

since i am a christian i believe the year 2012 is when we will see the last day on earth, for the signs already point to it, besides, i think you should ask God for forgiveness, just in case today is the last day on earth. i mean the end is almost near. so we might as well live like it
