What are stereotypes that you'd have of people from Massachusetts?

For those of you people that live outside of the united states you can just list the stereotypes you have of Americans.

    I'm an Aussie, I have made a lot of good acquaintances I chat with almost everyday on the net from Massachusetts.

    The people who live there are all very down to earth and open minded, I stereotype them as being my good American Mates who like mindedly share a lot in common.

    I'm an Aussie and I travelled through the USA ten years back.

    I loved Boston and the whole North Eastern corner. Lovely countryside, lovely people.
