well to be honest with you, i don't open the "girls only" questions.

but sometimes i do, but i don't read the quesions or the answers, and i don't know what's the question about and i don't need to know, but i just look at the avatars and the names to see how many of our brothers have answered.

it's agreat way to see who are the boys and who are the men.

as for the whole bearn and hijab thing.

in islan hijab is a wajib, which means you HAVE TO wear it.

but the beard is recomended.

yes, i do shave, but right now as for a respect to Imam Hussain (as), his family and friends, Karbala and Ashura, i'm avoiding shaving for a month or so.

to be fair sister,you can't compare between hijab and growing your beard,hijab is fard and mentioned in the quran many times..and it has many purposes

while growing a beard is a strong sunnah,maximum ''wajib'' and its purpose not to make us lower our gaze but to imitate the prophet and be different than kuffars..

but some men preach about hijab while they wear short shorts or go around the gym or the beach with their belly button_and below_showing lol

that is HARAM! and that's the dress code for them that they should follow,as women should wear hijab.

The hijab is compulsary to wear for women, it is stated in the quran:

“O you Children of Adam! We have bestowed on you raiment to cover your shame as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness, that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition.” (Quran 7:26)

“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran 33:59)

if you wanna look best for Allah then wear a hijab.

to have a beard for a man is Sunnah (act of the Prophet). i hope i grow one later when im older.

n plus i dont force girls to wear an hijab. tats the girls father,brother,son and husbands job. not mine.

I have a beard although it should be longer, I just couldnt get one on my avatar! They should wear Hijab, but there are worse things, and more important deeds, like making salah and the other pillars, and aving proper beliefs, but Hijab is important, We are all works in progress may Allah guide to the straight path, and forgive our weaknesses
