moving triops to a bigger tank?

I have recently started growing a batch of triops. they are now 2 weeks old and the original hatching tank has become over crowded as I have about 12 triops in there. I have a 15 litre tank and I was wondering if this is too big. of course I wont fill it up all the way because they maybe unable to find food so I'll fill it to the 8/10 litre mark. but do you think that this again is too much water? and any tips for moving them would be great too :) thanks

Update:

they may have a short life but I want to make their short life a nice one :-I

Update 2:

cool :D cant wait, should be rather fun. there is so many, I didnt expect that many to hatch and survive! all about half an inch long.

Update 3:

thanks zack b (i shall add you to contacts)

I hopefully will add the water tomorrow, and ill add a few triops after a couple of hours. if they survive the night, then I will try and message you.

thanks for your help ^^

Update 4:

and thanks animalhelper :)

Update 5:

lol, I shall name him dave ^^

I was wondering, if they are in a bigger tank, would that make the risk of them eating each other smaller? as they will hav more space and wider distibuted food.

Update 6:

ahh yes, I will do, like a pinch of fish food in different places. I see, thanks again :)

Update 7:

ah right okay. I read somewhere that you should take 20% of the smaller tanks water and switch it with the larger tanks water, and do that for 4 days so the triops can become accustomed to the new tank. do you think that would be a good Idea?

Update 8:

yeah I thought so. hmm, I dont want them to die so ill have to do it slowly.

and thanks for the buddy...how would I buddy you?

Update 9:

ah okie dokie :) done, you be buddied

Update 10:

im going too. and thank you very much :)

Well triops have a short life span anyways.

Sure I guess it will work. Bigger the better :D

    :D have fun then!

Your welcome. I would say it's fine as long as you spread the food around. Not just on one spot. Ask more questions and I will come and check on it :)

Yes pinch of food in different places will do. They will also look for their food that has been fallen onto the bottom of the tank.

Im not a pro at triops but that seems fine. Putting them into water condition that is entirley different can harm the triops. I buddied you!

In my opinion theres not alot of point moving them. i mean you can, it wont take a lot of effort but in a couple of weeks they're just gonna start eating each other anyway... then in the end you'll just have one fat/evil triop left.

I recommend you name him Dave.

They do consume one yet another. My son has had 2 batches of those; whether they do no longer attack one yet another,(which they sometimes do) they're going to fortunately consume a triops this is already ineffective.
