Apps on the First generation iPod Touch?
Is there a way you can download the software to get the Apps for free? I know you have to pay $10, but is there any way you can get it for free? If so, please post the link. Thanks~

Nope, you need to pay $10 to get free or paid apps on your iPod Touch. If you dont want to pay $10 then jailbreak it. But i would pay $10, its just $10, since jailbreaking it avoids your warranty.
Pay $10 theres no other way.

You can get the App store for free when you have an iPhone, but you will have to pay the 10 dollars to get the App store with an iPod touch.
Hope this helps!

Search up on YouTube! There is a way actually. Just search up "how to upgrade your iPod touch 2.0" and you might see some results. With this you can have the latest 2.2 on your iPod touch. I have tried this myself and it completely works.

As far as I know, the iTouch 1G can be jailbroken and you can put third-party applications and customize your iPod. I'm warning you, though. If you have a warranty on your iTouch and something goes wrong while jailbreaking, it completely voids your warranty.
