What is your greatest NFL moment from 2008?

Being a Giant fan I would have to say when the G-Men beat the previously undefeated New England Patriots in the Superbowl. What a game!

Update:

Kaine I've been a Giants fan probably before you were a twinkle in your Daddies eye.

Last Sunday's football game of the eagles vs. cowboys. Win and your in was the slogan of that game, whichever of the 2 teams that won, was the one which was going to the playoffs. People were saying all year that Dallas was in and would win and go to the playoffs, and that the Eagles stank and were not gonna make it, especially after tying the bengals and losing to the bengals. and they WHOOPED the cowboys. Owens even said it was a "good old-fashioned butt whooping" they couldn't do anything right, they turned the ball over 5 times, defense scored 2 touchdowns [one being 70 some yards and the other was 90 some yards]. It was amazing to watch, especially since I hate the cowboys and always have. I couldn't turn away from the television. The eagles scored 17 points in the last likee 2 minutes of the first half!!! The score ended up being 44 to 6., but it was 44 to 3 for a while. And the Eagles even had a missed field goal so it could have been more.

Agreed, the Super Bowl was by far the best NFL moment or moments! "A Funny Thing Happened To The Pats On Their Way To Their Coronation"!

    A thing of beauty!

The second greatest moment had to be last weeks game between the Eagles and Cowgirls. As an Eagles fan I thoroughly enjoyed that game! Another thing of beauty!

This isn't as obvious as the others...

Jaguars at Colts in late September. Colts hold a 1-point lead with 1:07 left. They start at their own 20, Garrard passes them down to the Colts 33-yard line. Josh Scobee comes in and bangs a 51-yard field goal home to give the Jaguars the lead with 8 seconds.

After the kick, Scobee races down to the end zone where the ball guy is removing the ball from the net. He comes up behind the guy and literally rips the ball from his hands and runs back to the sideline to get ready for the last kickoff.

Classic. The look on the ball guy's face was priceless.

Watching My Panthers lock up the #2 Seed, and a first round bye so their guys can get healthy would be my favorite.

Watching the Eagles beat the he!! out of Dallas ranks a very, very close second.

Seeing how the Denver Donkeys were taken apart by the Chargers on almost every aspect of the game knocking them out of the play offs would be number three, but not by much.

The greatest moment was when Eli Manning scrambled away from that sack and threw it to the receiver and that catch lead the Giants to a Superbowl win.

The Vikings stopping the Bears at the goal line for 4 plays and on the very first play after the turnover on downs a 99 yard pass play to Berrian. Lights out!!

The Giants win twice for me. For the Entire year of 2008, I'd choose their superbowl winning drive.

As for the 2008 season, i'd choose the final minutes of the Giants-Panthers game.

Being a Bills fan I would have to say the prospect of maybe making the playoffs in 2009....... another year of futility.....

Seriously.... when the Bills won there home opener against Seattle. Nothing better then opening day at Rich stadium and a Buffalo win
