Brad Delp or Tom Scholz - Who was a bigger influence on you and why ?
BOSTON fans only !
DB - That's pretty sad, dude.
2 Old - If you knew who these great musicians were, you would know better than to make a comment like that.
SK - Yes, you can. You can also pick Jim Masdea, Fran Sheehan, Barry Goudreau or other prior/current Boston bandmates. BTW, Barry & FRan play in a blues band now called "Ernie and the Automatics".

Not taking anything away from Brad Delp... As you know, it was his voice that was an integral component of what catapulted the band into the untouchophere.
It was Mr. Scholz' innovations that I remember having an extraordinary imprint. He introduced us to a guitar sound that had never been heard before. A wow moment in rock, especially for guitar players around the globe.
I purchased, played through and still own several of his electronic innovations....The Rockman and The Power Soak, amongst others.
The original Rockman: An inspirational practice tool. Slick, remote and private.

I personally think that Tom Scholz had more influence in creating the unique sound of Boston. However Brad Delp wrote many great song. I still feel that Tom Scholz established Boston's sound.
