surgery but is getting ready to go on tour after getting a positive response to his recovery. Haggard is a country/western icon and I wish he would come to my city for a concert. Would you go to his official web site and beg him to come to Detroit for a show??

Beggin dont help. You need to find a concert promoter in your area and tell him to pay merle his 75,000 a night plus the cost of his contract rider WHOOP WHOOP. Promise if you square that away he'll be there!!!

Yes Merle was in the news i think in November, he had surgery for cancer,
He recently just came home from hospital, iam suprised he is planning a tour so soon

That is a start but the agency that represents him would have to have a guarantee and a upfront letter of payment before they would schedule an event.
