In tropics,at 81000 feet,the atmospheric pressure value will be about 30 mb(about 1/33th of the surface pressure) and the average temperature value at this level in tropics will be about -50(minus50) degree celsius.Many times,I have recorded this value by releasing meteorological balloons with radiosonde.
