Residents of Romania: What is a common drink to order in the bars?

Is there a drink that is common to order in the bars (and do you call them bars, pubs, etc) - also, what is the most popular wine there (brand and kind of wine, ex: Shiraz, cabernet, etc).

Thanks!

PS - I am especially looking for the region of Transylvania, but any region will do.

I think the most common drink is beer - but I cannot consider myself a specialist.

We have bars, Irish pubs, restaurants -in the cities and in the small villages: BUFET [boo-fet] or CARCIUMA [char-chew-mah].

What type of wine do you prefer: dry, extra dry....?

I would suggest the golden wine of Moldavia: COTNARI or if you want something really strong - but really really strong, like fuel - try the Romanian plum brandy - called TUICA [tsoui- ka] or PALINCA [pa-lin-ka].

Also, in Transylvania - we have excellent wines - from the region called TARNAVE [ther-na-veh].

the time-honored socially prevalent norm is which you do not order a complicated drink whilst the bar is done of people and the tenders are consistently working around. I for one does not desire to watch for a bartender to combine up a cosmo to a pair lady's particular liking jointly as all i desire are merely 3 beers. you probably do not desire to attend to any extent further than you will be able to desire to get your beverages, so why you have the desire to make people do the comparable. warm women are many times exempt from this rule, yet maximum consumers does not think of too surprisingly of you for doing that.
