What heat source do you prefer...?

you know i have a wood stove

Central heat is good for a larger area like a house. A wood stove or fireplace will only do good for about a room. But I prefer central heat.

We do have propane though, although it's not used as much nor provides a lot of heat. It really just warms up the living room if it's especially cold...

i love my wood stove. i have a fireplace too, but the wood stove heats up so much better, plus you can have it's doors open to see the fire if you want. aside from that, i've made many pots of coffee on it when the powers been out. by the way, it's a 1978 vermont castings vigilant, and i need a new spark screen if you have an extra one ; )

Body Heat

Wood stove except for the inconvenience. I use to own one. I love the feel of wood heat but not the mess of bringing in wood that sometimes has mud and critters on it as well as the occasional sparks that burn holes in the carpet.

We have central heat but when I was growing up on the farm, we had a wood stove. Awesome!!

There's nothing like a fireplace for romance. Wood stoves are nice too. I had both at my parents house growing up. :)
