What is your favorite genre of music?

What genre do you tend to listen to? Rap, country, rock, pop, etc. Explain why?

I like rock, generally alternative rock. It's just something I've been immersed in. My sister listens to it, my friends listen to it, so I just kinda picked it up and felt that it usually has a good tune.

    I love country because it talks about real life struggles and it helps my moods. I also like christian music because I like the messages the songs provide. I don' have anything against rock, my boyfriend listens to that genre.

    I don't know I really have one favorite genre. Some of my favorite bands don't really fit into a genre. Though I'd have to say either folk, or blues rock, would be up there at the top somewhere. Pretty much anything but hardcore rap, heavy metal, or country. Though even among those I can generally find a band or two I like.

    Any kind of rock and some funk, but it depends.

    Some of my favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stones, The Who, Average White Band, the list goes on...

    Basically, any kind of rock, funk, or metal from then and now.

    The music is amazing, I play the guitar (So I have an interest) and I want the lyrics to be hearable and meaningful
