Bilirubin level of 10.6. Is this good?
My nephew was born on the 1st at 35 weeks. His bilirubin is 10.6. Is this a good level?
i guess it's safe as long as it continues to drop

It's a safe level. Generally they don't worry until levels are around 16-20 mg/dl.

It's at the "okay" level where he might not have to be emitted to the hospital, but he's not over Jaundice either.
When my son was born, his highest bili reading was 14.3. The nurses sent us home with a BiliBlanket to use for about 3 days. After that and feeding him lots on demand, his jaundice was flushed from his body!

It's not good but not dangerous either. My son was about the same. I was just instructed to nurse often and keep him in the sun as much as I could. I kept the windows open at home and we sat snuggled with my son in a diaper only.

my son's was somewhere around 12 after birth- it is common for newborns to get jaundice especially preemies. my son was a 36 weeker

My daughter had a 19.8 and she went under phototherapy lights..so thats a safe level to be at..
