Breaking bow hair in case Help?
I play violin, viola, and electric violin. I use 3 different bows. Sometimes the bow and instruments remain in the case for several weeks while I am busy with the other.
Frequently I open the case and a lot of hair has broken right at the tip or frog. Any solutions?

Try buying a cover for your bows, like a case perhaps? Or the thing that holds them in, dont do it up? This is a tricky problem.
I have played the violin for 12 years and never really had this problem, but I keep my violins out on stands with their bows, maybe you should try this?
I hope this has helped you!

I would try loosening your bow a little more. Sometimes the weather changes mess it up so it snaps.

they do sell bow covers but i think your problem is just that you need to loosen your bow before you put it back in the case.
