DO NOT BUY ONE FROM A VERIZON STORE!
They will cost you atleast thirty dollars, and over fifty if it is a pda/smart phone.
I work for verizon wireless and i can honestly tell you they are the same batteries you will find for much less on ebay.
Example.
I had a samsung alias.
I bought a thirty dollar battery for it.
no big deal.
Until i lost it and had to purchase a new one, so just for kicks i looked on ebay,
four dollars.
free shipping.
i could have saved twenty six dollars.
It is definetely worth just buying it on ebay.

you don't get a verizon battery, whatever the manufacturer is of your phone, you go for that. Go into a verizon store, or best by with your phone, show it to the salesperson and they can get you one.
