Closing deceased spouse email account?

Go to the forgot your password thing on the email. Go through the steps and it will take you to a page where you have to fill out personal information that he put in when he opened it. Then it will ask you the secret question, which you should know the answer to. That will take you to the change the password page. Change the password to something you know, go into his account and close it down. You have to give it like 14 days without going into it for it to close. If you go back into it after you have hit the erase account, you will have to close it down again. So after you close it, just leave it alone and they will erase it after the 14 days.

The best thing I can recommend is to e-mail whichever service it was through, explain the situation and go from there. I know when my dad wanted to close out an account and couldn't figure out how to through the website, he just contacted the service and they closed the account for him with no problem. Leave the account dormant for 4 months and yahoo will automatically delete the account

know the password...dead or alive...your husband still has privacy rights and unless you know the password, or know how to hack into yahoo...it's not happening

you can call or e-mail customer service and let them know whats going on. They should be able to help.

you have to have the password to get on it and delete it. otherwise they put up really powerful blocks so know one can delete it, like ur enemies

from where...here ??? just delete it, in his acct. If you have his password..otherwise leave it alone, it's not gonna do anything. Just ignore it.
