I am technologically illiterate. Does any one know of an I-Pod dock that charges & plays a nano 8GB 4G?

I have bought two. One for christmas which I returned. I asked the clerk in the store and got a different one but it doesn't charge the I-Pod either? The whole point is that I would like my daughter to be able to charge her I-Pod without us all tripping over it at the computer.

It seems docks that claim to charge all docking I-Pods do not live up to the promise.

Update:

Also I forgot to mention we called the manufacturer of the 1st dock and they said it was not compatible with the nano 4th generation. Also any lists of compatible I-pods that I have seen with some of the docks list 2nd generation nano and sometimes 3rd but I have yet to see 4th.

One thing ive done is taken my ipod to the store. They should have some docks plugged in. Just plug the nano into the dock and see if it charges and plays.
