Yes, Cleveland and Chicago battling for the Lead. Other teams haven't made any good trades.

You can never count out the Twins, and the White Sox are reigning AL Central champs. So what's all this about the Tribe & the Tigers? Did we go back to 2006?

I think that the AL Central will be a battle between the Indians and Tigers.

Detroit's got to be angry after failing to produce, especially after all the hype they had trading for Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis. I don't think the team foresaw Willis going to A-ball and being the disaster that he was last season, and overall the team was disappointing. I don't think they will finish last in the Central again this season.

As for the Tribe, they should be in better shape this season. They signed Kerry Wood and Carl Pavano, who should be two good pitchers for them - barring any injuries or setbacks. They've got a good, young lineup and quite a bit of talent. I think they could be an under-the-radar team in the AL.

Your Yankees should be able to back up the hype that has surrounded them. How can a team not be excited after getting CC, AJ, and Teixeira for $423 million? They're my current favorites to win the AL East.

Do not count out the Royals. We expect them to battle for 4th spot in the division all year but alas will finish just a game short. Seriously, 85 wins will take the division
