Google Chrome Help for Email?

Can someone please help me. Im using google chrome, everytime i go into my hotmail email, i can view and all properly. But when i try to write an email, i have trouble. I am able to put in the addresses and subject perfectly and all, but i, for some reason, just cant type anything in the subject of the email. This only happens with google chrome, despite which computer i use in the house. Please help. I prefer chrome to firefox because i find it user friendly and faster and would prefer to continue using it.
