why is the remote for rockband2 on wii not wireless?? are they coming out with a wireless one?

to the above poster, I think the kid's not playing but in the room while everyone else is playing.

The microphone is wired for cost reasons. A wired microphone costs about $5 while a wireless one would be more like $50 (for a bad one).

Also, wireless microphones/headsets aren't very good at transmitting high quality sound, but instead transfer more like telephone quality sound so if you want more accuracy when you are singing you need to stick with a wired microphone. The wireless microphones that singers use on big stages are very expensive for a video game.

Best buy sells an aftermarket microphone that's wireless.

that's why u should never let your 15 month old play rock band 2 he will wreck it i don't evening let my 5 year old nice play it or my 4 year old nice because i spend a lot of money on it but i don't have rock band 2 just the first one.
