why do women lie about their age?

I just met this girl like a week ago, she told me she was 16, I'm 18 and you know i dont like to get in trouble with the law, but 16 isnt that bad, seeing as how she said she was turning 17 in a few months. Today she decided to tell me that she lied and shes really only 15. Wtf do i do. This is the second time this sh!t has happened.

If she's 15 just stay away. 16 is the age limit for consent. If you are 18 you shouldn't be having sex with anyone under 16. Try someone closer to your age because you'll relate to them more. 16 year old girls talk about lipgloss and The Hills. 18 year old girls talk about college... and The Hills. :-D

Because they think men are stupid.

They'll do it all through their lives. They may be able to get away with 2 or 3 years, but eventually karma catches up to them for their lies. I like to think that every face wrinkle on an old bag is a lie she's told a guy who was attracted to her.

I think they're scared of growing old [obviously]. Menopause is a function of age and the average woman gets scared when she approaches it s she tends to show people that she isn't getting any nearer menopause. I don't really see why that happens. Some interviews I've read on the web suggest that the majority of women over 60 are still sexually active or still think about sex.

I know its bad that she lied but its only another year and she said she was turning older so its like she is still 16 in a way

For the same reason SOME men do. To make people think they are older (when they are young) or younger (when they are not so young).

Maybe you will have to start asking all of your women for an ID! :-) Just stay away from anyone younger than you are at this point.

  • She just liked you and felt the pressure to lie about it. At least she told you the truth a couple days later...could have been like "happy 18th b-day!" "oh, well, you see...i'm 17" lol...

    One year isn't a big diff ;)

    Don't stress about it.

( I'm guessing she felt there would be a better chance on getting with you if she lied about it )

Girls usually lie because they like the guy but are worried he'll think they're too young

If you like her there's no reason not to be with her i'm 15 and my boyfriends 18 so it's not the end of the world.

Stay away from chicks that are still in high school. (I'm assuming you're either out or on the way out.)

You're 18 now and that means that unless you're dating someone who's 18 or older, that makes you a pedo. Sorry.

I don't care if you've known the girls for years, I don't care if you were already dating them, I don't care if she turns 18 in a few weeks, unless she is 18, that **** is illegal.

    Stay away.

She probably just really liked you, and thought that if she told you her

real age that she wouldn't have a chance with you. One time, I really liked this one boy that was 17 so i told him that I was 16, and it made him some what interested..but then he found out i was 14 and it didn't work out. So yeah.

try to find s who are just fun and outgoing and dont have to lie to "try to impress you" or whatever.

    trust me, they're out there

also maybe try meeting people through friends bc they will be able to tell you if they are lying to you about anything like that

but i also can say i havent been there ha
