How come whenever I do alot of crunches my stomach gets bigger?
For the past week I've been doing 165 crunches a day. I thought it would make my abs more defined and maybe a little, I dunno, flatter? But instead my stomach has grown bigger... I look pregnant when my stomach is relaxed, and it hurts like a ***** to have to suck it in (which I had to do all day long)
Why is my stomach getting bigger? Will it eventually not get bigger? are my abs ever going to get more defined and make my stomach flatter?
I have a healthy diet (vegan) and I do at least an hour of cardio a day.

Your muscles are probably fatigued and are bulging, so your belly looks more rotund. Calm down how many crunches you are doing, do some push ups, they also work your abs, and also do some weight bearing exercises. Try to stabilise your core muscles when you walk and bend and lift, it will all help the belly.
You go girl. Also don't forget to drink 2 litres of water a day to help get rid of bloating. If you are being really active you might have to push it up to 2.5 to 3 litres.
