Where in the video game Super Mario World for Super Nintendo is the red switch located?
I have been playing this game for years. Haven't won it yet... what board can the red light switch be located and are there any other switches besides the yellow or red ones?
OK, I got a great answer about where the switches were. Are there any other goodies hidden on the boards of this game?

Here's the location of all the Switch Block Palaces in Super Mario World (SNES / GBA / Wii VC).
* Yellow Switch Palace -- Located near Yoshi Island 1, easiest to access.
* Green Switch Palace -- Located near Donut Plains 2, requires key-exit to access. You have to take the pipe exit in the cave, instead of going through the entire cave. You'll need either Yoshi OR a Mushroom to reach key (& keyhole)... The blue koopa shell is a critical hint.
* Red Switch Palace -- Located near Vanilla Cave 2, requires key-exit to access. Bit complicated to explain, but it does require usage of switch blocks & a little back-tracking. If you reach the midway gate, you've gone too far.
* Blue Switch Palace -- Located near Forest of Illusion 2, requires key-exit to access. Travel through the false block (near exit gate) to reach key & keyhole.
That should get you in the right direction. Just visit the noted stages & find the secret exit to find them. While Red & Blue blocks don't have anything in them, the Green blocks contain feathers inside (like the Yellows contain mushrooms). These blocks are mostly placed to assist you in the stages (& find some secrets).
Hope that helps!
