From London, UK to the Tuscany region in Italy?
I will stay in London, UK and then I am planning to visit Pienza, San Gimignano, Siena, Assisi, and Val d'Orcia area for pleasure.
I checked British Airways and Alitalia routes but still not very clear... :(
From Milan, I don't feel right as it is a bit too far.
From Rome, I don't feel right either as it is a bit too far.
From Pisa, there is a route but it is still too far from the Tuscany region.
Strangely, there is no route between London and Florence either by British or Alitalia... I wonder why? I further wonder if there is any airport in Florence...
Please could someone kindly advise me?

The Florence airport is very small. Meridiana flies there directly from Gatwick. Most people fly into Pisa but if you're planning on staying in Florence and taking day tips to these other towns then the Meridiana flight makes sense.

Hi.
Both Ryanair and Easyjet fly from London to Pisa.
They are both low cost airlines.

Try www.ryanair.com , they do cheaper flights and to smaller airports. The only catch is they charge extra for baggage.
