In YA Current Events, do many people seek to understand opinions with which they disagree?
Or do people primarily wish to express their own views? It seems to me there is very little actual discussion and mostly people are venting and defending their own opinions without consideration of finding common ground. I suppose there is value in letting off steam, but striving to understand one another would seem more beneficial for all concerned. Just my opinion. Your thoughts?

You really think free internet forum is best place to do that? Then I guess more power to you, I guess. Most of these people are just taking a break from porn or email schemes.
