How do I get my picture off of my phone?

I'm switching to Verizon, and I have some good pics on my recent phone. I was wondering how do I get the pictures of my current phone onto the computer, or if there is a way.

    You need a wire to connect your phone to the computer. Kind of like an iPod.

    Either connect it via USB or send it MMS
